    Bionator I

The Bionator I is used for the correction of Class II malocclusions with a deep bite. It can serve to stimulate alveolar growth for patients with a deep overbite while gaining space and correcting an open bite in mixed dentition cases. The design incorporates fluted grooves in the posterior section along with an anterior bite plate to allow posterior eruption allowing lower facial height. We place an anterior cap for stability as the lower advances into position with the upper.

    Bionator II

The Bionator II is used to correct Class II malocclusions with an open bite. The appliance has an open anterior section to allow growth of the incisors while incorporating a posterior bite plate to prevent vertical eruption. Ideally, treatment starts should range from 8-11 years old, and recommended wear time is 21-23 hours a day.

    Bloore Aligner

The Bloore Aligner provides a diverse flexibility to correct minor rotations, torque, and rotations. The eyelet springs can be bent side to side to adjust rotation or opened to allow labial movement. Once the treatment is complete, the eyelet springs are adapted to be made passive allowing the appliance to act as a retainer.

  • clearbow applianceClearbow retainer

    Clear Bow Retainer

The Clear Bow a new clear retainer that is fabricated with a virtually unbreakable, BPA-free plastic orthodontic wire (ClearBow). It is not damaged by boiling water or stained by coffee, cola, beet juice or red wine (bow only, not the acrylic retainer itself). The ClearBow is designed to provide superior aesthetics encouraging continuous wear for your patients.

When metallic compounds interact with dental plaque over a long period, they can stain a small portion of the enamel. Because the thermoplastic strap of the ClearBow assembly does not contain any metallic compounds and is softer than stainless steel, it does not stain or scratch tooth enamel, restorations or veneered teeth.

    Dawson Splint (Cuspid Risers)

The centric relations diagnostic splint or Dawson Splint is a modification of the flat occlusal plane splint. This appliance has slight centric stops and an anterior ramp extending off the labial cuspid-to-cuspid region to provide incisal and cuspid guidance.  The centric relations diagnostic splint is a flat-plane, full-contact splint fabricated on either the maxillary or mandibular arch. The maxillary splint provides smooth anterior guidance that is just steep enough to allow immediate posterior disclusion.

The mandibular splint allows for full contact of the maxillary arch on the occlusal surface of the mandibular splint. The anterior region is flattened from cuspid centric stop to cuspid centric stop, which allows for the immediate lift-off onto the cuspids and a smooth transition on the incisors during crossover excursions.

    Distal Jet

The Distal Jet is constructed around a highly efficient piston, and tube principle, coupled with a controlled and defined force delivery. The Distal Jet is uniquely adapted to a bio-mechanic approach to maximize outcomes. Superior distalizer combines simple translation with excellent anchorage control and positive, simple molar retention with one appliance. Typical clinical situations for the Distal Jet are: Class II maxillary protrusion, Class II molar relations resulting from missing or blocked out teeth, and Class II subdivision (unilateral) cases. Expansion can also be achieved by adding a transverse screw.

    Hanks Herbst

The Hanks Herbst appliance provides an exceptional function in class II orthodontic correction. This appliance repositions the mandible forward to allow for the adaptation of the muscular, skeletal and dental components utilizing a simple to install the telescopic component on the buccal. The Hanks is easy and efficient because screws are integrated directly into the telescoping mechanism reducing the chance for small pieces falling into the patients’ mouth. Its unique ball and socket design provide unrestricted lateral excursion and unparalleled patient comfort. We recommend the Herbst for those difficult patients who have compliance issues with removable appliances.
